THREE QUICK BUT SIGNIFICANT NOTICES!
1. There's a free and legal download for as long as it lasts of Brian Ray's new single,
Under The Sun, available at http://brianray.com/usatoday. For those of you who
can't quite remember Brian Ray, you probably saw him playing guitar for Sir Paul
McCartney for the past several years. Do it now, before it is gone. The redemption
code is SUNSHINE for the free song.
2. America (the duo/band, not the country or continents), have a new covers album
out named appropriately Back Pages. I am usually not a great fan of such nostalgia,
but this one is a winner and a keeper. I rarely play a CD over and over and over after
a few initial spins. This one is easily on spin 50 plus.... gorgeous!
3. Avril Lavigne has an unreleased (legally) song floating around the internet, called,
Won't Let You Go. Little is know about when this little gem was recorded, or how it got
passed around. I would never suggest someone download something like this before a legal and proper release. If you really did want want to do such a despicable thing, you would
have to search the name of the song, plus Avril, and well maybe just maybe it would pop
up. I do know the links come and go on this one, some links reportedly only have about
30 seconds of the song. And the audio (I am told) is poor. Thus we will wait for a formal
release. Until then do enjoy her new single, just promo'd on the Teen Choice Awards in the USA, simply called Smile. It is a cool guitar rocker. Starts with electric axe strings being scratched and a deep sounding percussion track. Now, get to iTunes (or wherever)...
